Bullying between couples is very common in schools or universitiesthan men most of all abuse women.both their confidence as to their sexuality because men are believingthe law and that echo to the lower women's self esteem.
By. Joan S. Restrepo
But not only talk about men because there are women who are sopossessive man who mistreat and make them look bad in front of the other people, then what about bullying among couples is that both men and women are abused and in some cases they are very strong partners can involve their own families and make the problem much bigger.
Some very strong cases of bullying among couples almost alwayscomes to a death or suicide ortho cases. ¨ What happens is that women do not report pressure of man because if you lick that algienbullying another person is illegal but what happens is that they are afraid to complain for fear of being killed or hurt.
A possible solution of this would be that families give them strength to women and men to claim that if not to reach a problematic more difficult to control because otherwise what would make quick workthat are killing would be that if the tip hits kill commit suicide.
When she was in high school, Lady Gaga says, she was thrown into a trash can.
The culprits were boys down the block, she told me in an interview on
Wednesday in which she spoke — a bit reluctantly — about the repeated
cruelty of peers during her teenage years.
“I was called really horrible, profane names very loudly in front of
huge crowds of people, and my schoolwork suffered at one point,” she
said. “I didn’t want to go to class. And I was a straight-A student, so
there was a certain point in my high school years where I just couldn’t
even focus on class because I was so embarrassed all the time. I was so
ashamed of who I was.”
Searching for ways to ease the trauma of adolescence for other kids,
Lady Gaga came to Harvard University on Wednesday for the formal
unveiling of her Born This Way Foundation, meant to empower kids and nurture a more congenial environment in and out of schools.
Lady Gaga is on to something important here. Experts from scholars to Education Secretary Arne Duncan
are calling for more focus on bullying not only because it is linked to
high rates of teen suicide, but also because it is an impediment to
education.
A recent study
from the University of Virginia suggests that when a school has a
climate of bullying, it’s not just the targeted kids who suffer — the
entire school lags academically. A British scholar
found that children who simply witness bullying are more likely to skip
school or abuse alcohol. American studies have found that children who
are bullied are much more likely to contemplate suicide and to skip
school.
The scars don’t go away, Lady Gaga says. “To this day,” she told me,
“some of my closest friends say, ‘Gaga, you know, everything’s great.
You’re a singer; your dreams have come true.’ But, still, when certain
things are said to you over and over again as you’re growing up, it
stays with you and you wonder if they’re true.”
Any self-doubt Lady Gaga harbors should have been erased by the huge
throngs that greeted her at Harvard. “This might be one of the best days
of my life,” she told the cheering crowd.
The event was an unusual partnership between Lady Gaga and Harvard
University in trying to address teen cruelty. Oprah Winfrey showed up as
well, along with Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of health and human services.
Kathleen McCartney,
dean of the Graduate School of Education here at Harvard, said that she
and her colleagues invited Lady Gaga because they had been searching
for ways to address bullying as a neglected area of education — and as a
human rights issue. As many as one-fifth of children feel bullied, she
said, adding: “If you don’t feel safe as a child, you can’t learn.”
Lady Gaga describes her foundation as her “new love affair,” and said
that, initially, she thought about focusing on a top-down crackdown on
bullying. But, over time, she said, she decided instead to use her
followers to start a bottom-up movement to try to make it cooler for
young people to be nice.
I asked Lady Gaga if people won’t be cynical about an agenda so simple
and straightforward as kindling kindness. Exceptionally articulate, she
seemed for the first time at a loss for words. “That cynicism is exactly
what we’re trying to change,” she finally said.
Bullying isn’t, of course, just physical violence. Lady Gaga’s mother,
Cynthia Germanotta, who will serve as president of the Born This Way
Foundation, says that one of the most hurtful episodes in her daughter’s
childhood came when schoolmates organized a party and deliberately
excluded Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga was reluctant to talk too much about her own experiences as a
teenager for fear that her foundation would seem to be solely about
bullying. Her aim is a far broader movement to change the culture and
create a more supportive and tolerant environment. “It’s more of a
hippie approach,” she explained.
“The Born This Way Foundation is not restitution or revenge for my
experiences,” Lady Gaga told me. “I want to make that clear. This is: I
am now a woman, I have a voice in the universe, and I want to do
everything I can to become an expert in social justice and hope I can
make a difference and mobilize young people to change the world.”
Yes, that sounds grandiose and utopian, but I’m reluctant to bet against one of the world’s top pop stars and the person with the most Twitter followers
in the world. In any case, she’s indisputably right about one point:
Bullying and teenage cruelty are human rights abuses that need to be
higher on our agenda.
This is an article of the New York times newspaper, that is describing the situation of Jonah Mowry.
The cyber bullying is a modern way to practice the
bullying. It can be practice by anyone ‘cause it is practice by the media known
as internet through phones, social networks, electronic mails (e-mails), blogs,
chats, text messages.
It consists in the way that people transmit wrong or
false information of a person and this makes a bad reputation of a person in a
society, it starts with the rejection between the people and the person that's
been hurting person and that “bad reputation” that the people start making is
in almost all the cases gossips or only thinks that may be simple but that affects
the personality of the person.
Some examples that are commons to see related to cyber
bullying are the one that happens in the social nets, were the people publishes
pictures or offensing phrases or bad comments about a person, or in extreme
cases a person creates a group were they start to talk in a bad way or almost
saying thinks that are ilogical and are not true.
Sometimes cyber bullying is used either to annoy to
someone, in some cases that is for get money of benefits or similar, also they
can annoy saying that if the person does not do the thing that is requested by
the aggressor they would upload an offensive picture that most of the times is
photoshop in the one they take out the clothes to make a pornographic
representation with the face of the person that’s suffering of bullying.
The cyber bullying brings as a consequence sexual abuse
and also stoles, without counting the psychological consequences and almost the dead by suicide.
This type
of bullying is one of the cases that is present frequently, and that is because
a big example of this is, for example when suddenly because of something a
person makes that another person feels in a less level caused by an illogical
situation but that for somebody that has a personality very vulnerable can
brings delays in the integral formation of the person, because this also cause
lesions in the mind and thoughts of this
person.
The
psychological bullying causes different reactions in persons, respect with
their relationship between family and them because they are scared to tell them
what is really going on with them in school or in a social net such as twitter
or Facebook. This consists in a disqualifying treat to somebody with the intention
of destabilizes in a physical form. The psychological harassment goes against
the moral dignity and integrity of the person that is suffering this type of
bullying.
It is a
long process were the person starts losing the trust in it, So be it with the
smallest act that anyone can do without intention and without thinking about it
before, can injure or intimidation or psychological disorders, since many times
these people resort to the use of going to school, not to leave the house, because
you have the feeling that everyone in your around only one set.
Many people
react in different ways and many of those ways are not adequate, some react to
assault another, others to suicide, or both shut themselves that they are
deprived of reality, you could say that with any case of bullying can damage
the lives of others, even to utterly ruin.
Now a days bullying is a big problem not only in families, in work,
in a relationship or in the street, we can see this problem especially in
schools. There are many types of bullying like verbal, physically, physiology
and others. Some
peoplehumiliateothers either by theirphysical aspectsandany problemsat home orat school, people who dothisbullyingalsomakes the others partof thesejokes.
People
who arevictims ofschoolbullyingtend to beaffectedphysicallyand psychologicallybutalso they had tolive with thissituationfor a long time, reach a pointwhere they no longerbearthe humiliationsand teasingtomake decisions thataffect the lives ofthese people.
Casesthat occur inschools showthat bullyingin schoolsis aserioussituationwhichdifferent peoplelive, is something which has been donelong time ago andevery dayareworst situations. Bullyingin schoolsis becausesome arefrom other races, havedifferent customsorculture, thiswe couldrelate todiscrimination, there are caseswhereschoolbullyingcanseeright throughsocial networking orotherInternet media.
As a conclusionwe can saythat bullyingis a problem thatis seenrepeatedlyboth at schooland elsewhere, even amongfamily members, but theschoolbullyingis themostseriousand wherethere are worsecases that people had to live with thislong time, even thestudents come tosuicide.Happensnot onlywith studentsbut also withteachers orpeople workingon this.
The consequences that bring the bullying are in also psychological,
it means that the people would starts thinking that the things that their aggressors
say or transmit in many forms are true, so they would want to SUICIDE either. Other ones suffers of rejection and because of
that they leave of their houses looking for the best place they consider they
can state and were they can be accepted. Other people start going apart the
society or they stop doing the daily activities.
The principal causes of bullying are the jealousy that one
person have to another, the thought of a person that says that he/she is higher
or better than another person, and the rancor that someone transmits to
another. This is very known by all the society cause it doesn’t only bring
consequences to the person that is suffering the bullying, it comes with
consequences with de aggressor and the people that is watching those violence
acts.
